The vivid colors were only used at the front desk, and the interior of the rooms was very modern and chic, so it was relaxing. There are many old hotels around Richmond, so this hotel was nicely renovated and comfortable. The room was spacious, and there was plenty of room even for two extra-large pieces of luggage. It was also well-cleaned.
The airport shuttle bus arrived on schedule, and we were able to load our large luggage. There was a coffee machine in the room, and in the lobby, there was a coffee machine that could be used 24 hours a day for cappuccino and hot chocolate (take-out is OK in a cup with a lid).
The only thing to note is that the door to the room has a quirk, and if the internal lock is not returned to the correct angle, the door may not auto-lock properly. There are McDonald's and Denny's nearby, and Denny's is very Canadian! I recommend it for its large portions.
Overall, it was a good, stylish hotel with good value for money.

To be honest apart from having the convenience of having access to charging ports. There was nothing much to the lounge. Not my idea of VIP. There were guys talking loud and no one told them to tone it down disturbing everyone else who was there. The food was beyond basic and nothing to shout about.

The shuttle bus is convenient. The location is great. There are water dispensers and coffee machines on the first floor. The staff are very friendly👍

The hotel is right next to the Vancouver Airport, with convenient transportation and airport drop-off service. Speaking of free airport pick-up and drop-off, I saw that other reviews did not mention this specifically! Arrived at the airport, waited for the shuttle bus on the third floor of the roadside. I saw the English-speaking Accent Inns minivan and got on the bus to the hotel. It runs every half an hour - between the airport and the hotel.
